I noticed this group of old fishing boats on the beach at Sidmouth, Devon and thought it to be an attrctive subject to draw. Why boats at low tide seem to have far more interest than those in water I don't know but I am constantly drawn to this type of subject. Maybe its because I suffer terribly from sea sickness and boats in water often remind me of many unforgettably bad sailings.
