Micheldever Village, Hampshire

A few years back I used to sell my work through a gallery at Dummer near Basingstoke. As local scenes always did well, I would often drive round some of the nearby villages looking for subjects and this particular village is a delight mainly because of the superb timber framed cottages found along its roads. The dark trees behind the cottages on the right provide good contrast and my distinctive red figure trademark adds just a touch of activity and colour to this timeless Hampshire scene.
